Beaches and swimming
Much of the shore is private property. The developed beach charges an entry fee, and a free public beach has not been confirmed yet.
Developed beach
- Fee: about 5 lei per person per day, according to visitors. To be confirmed
- Toilets: available; visitors describe them as clean on weekdays.
- Shore: gravel at the water's edge; water shoes help.
Free public beach
There is no confirmed free beach or marked public access to the water yet. To be confirmed

When to come
On weekdays the beaches are quiet and clean. Summer weekends are crowded and loud, and the car park fills early.
New leisure area
Timiș County Council is building an area with a deck terrace of up to 500 m², an outdoor pool, loungers, changing rooms, toilets and a floating pontoon. It aims to open in summer 2027. To be confirmed
Boat rentals
- Visitors mention pedal boats and rowing boats for rent, and the lake suits SUP and kayaking.
- The electric catamaran of the Timiș tourism association (APDT Timiș) gave free weekend rides from May to September in 2020–2023. The 2027 schedule is not confirmed. To be confirmed
